YOUTH AND GOVERNMENT
This program is for teens who are interested in how the government and politics affect their lives and the community. TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 9TH FROM 5:30-8:00pm. Games last approximately 2 hours and beginners ARE welcome! No registration is required for this FREE ACTIVITY! Please come out and learn these challenging games which emphasize strategy rather than luck. Among the games that will be played are:
Ticket to Ride - With elegantly simple gameplay, Ticket to Ride can be learned in 3 minutes, while providing players with intense strategic andtactical decisions every turn (ages 8+)
Prince of Florence - This game involves developing medieval and renaissancecities to attract various professions, which enriches the cities culturally (ages 12+)
Puerto Rico - The players are plantation owners in Puerto Rico in the dayswhen ships had sails (ages 12+)
Settlers of Catan - In Settlers of Catan, players try to be the dominantforce on the island of Catan by building settlements, cities, and roads (ages 8+)
FOCUS PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATES
